THE BEGGER LETTER
Dear All:
I don’t deserve this opportunity but. through the Grace and Mercy of God, I will seize. Indeed, we all have our individual struggles, so Trust me, when I say that I am thankful that you are still with me.
Not a news flash, however, I am a chronic stroke survivor, not by choice but by divine selection. In my weakened state, I struggle with this not of doubt but lack of want. Unfortunately, my need is greater than my want. This request is not for the ”I will pray for you” crowd but for those willing to “suffer with me” in my healing journey. A stroke is a medical emergency caused by interrupted blood flow (ischemic) or bursting blood vessels (hemorrhagic) in the brain, leading to rapid cell death. Symptoms include sudden face drooping, arm weakness, and speech difficulties (F.A.S.T.). Immediate treatment with clot-busters or surgery is vital. Key risk factors are high blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, and obesity. Recovery involves rehabilitation to regain lost functions. They are a precarious stain on existence. There is little hope for those in the chronic state. A chronic stroke refers to the stage of recovery starting six months or more after the initial event, where lingering, long-term effects like muscle weakness, spasticity, pain, fatigue, and cognitive issues persist. While spontaneous, rapid recovery slows, significant improvements remain possible through consistent, long-term rehabilitation, such as physical therapy, leveraging neuroplasticity, and, in some cases, utilizing specialized devices. Unfortunately, these are not options for me.
There is but one hope that I have come upon. Stem cell therapy for chronic stroke is a promising but largely experimental treatment option that has shown encouraging results in small clinical trials, particularly in improving motor function, spasticity, and aphasia. While considered safe in early-phase trials, definitive evidence of efficacy is still being gathered, and the treatment is not yet a standard, approved therapy. Established in 2012 and spearheaded by Dr. David Greene, MD, PhD, MBA, R3 Stem Cell is delivering effective and safe regenerative therapies in the US & internationally. The company offers products and services internationally to both patients and providers. It has clinics that provide regenerative therapies, along with training workshops that teach providers about regenerative biologics and therapies. In addition, R3 now has sister companies offering products for distribution, practice marketing, and clinical trial research studies around the world. They provide treatment for patients who are diagnosed with chronic stroke. We're sorry, we don't accept any insurance or neither covered by any insurance company. Dr. Greene has offered me the opportunity to completely heal from my chronic stroke through stem cell therapy. Unfortunately, R3 does provide treatment for patients who are diagnosed with chronic stroke. However, they don't accept any insurance or are not covered by any insurance company. Hence, I MUST RAISE $15,000 TO COVER THE COSTS.
I began seeking ways in which I could cover these costs. Unfortunately, I have not been successful in seeking legal compensations for the many errors done to me and by outlook, I may live beyond the statute of limitations in December 2026. Thus, my overall outlook is bleak in finding a lawyer that is competent and convicted to litigate such a legal inquiry. Our savings are exhausted to date and the oil well in the backyard no longer pumps oil. Hence, I am exhausted of personal funds. I have been made a pauper and beggar by my chronic condition. The word "beggar" comes from Middle English beggere, derived from Old French begart, referring to members of a lay mendicant order (Beghards) in the Low Countries, originating from Middle Dutch beggaert ("mendicant"). Its root is likely related to begging for alms, possibly from the verb beggen ("to recite prayers"), with the "-ard" suffix adding a pejorative sense. The English verb "beg" emerged from this noun, or possibly from an Old English word for begging, making its precise origin somewhat obscure but linked to the practice of asking for charity. Not a desired state. However, it is what it is!
I am not seeking direct contributions from family and friends, as many of you struggle with daily survival. However, I am asking for your divinely favored gifts. Understanding my precarious state, I pursued expert assistance. I inquired of my Heavenly Father and received this offering:
Hi Ken - we're a medical fundraising nonprofit, so if it's of interest to you, we could talk to you about starting a medical fundraising campaign for this purpose.
Do you have some people in your life (friends, family, connections) who may be willing to help out with a fundraising campaign?

Now, you know where I am going with this. I don’t seek your treasure but I seek your talent. Iseek family and friends that are willing to put their hands to the plow and help me build a campaign that will fund the $15.000 NEEDED for stem cell therapy. I want to walk again. I want to teach my grandson and not have his teachings rely on others. I WANT TO LIVE AGAIN AND NOT BE A SLAVE TO CHRONIC STROKE!
I sincerely thank you for reading this and look forward to your replies. Please feel no human obligation but if Divinely inspired then, please move on this request.
Eternally Grateful,
Ken McClenton
